ST A TE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPRO V AL OF THE MODIFICATION TO THE
MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
\VHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission is required to review proposed
modifications to the Mounds View Economic Development Project; and,
WHEREAS, the Office of the State Auditor has ruled that the Economic Development
Authority must explicitly identify those properties which eould potentially be acquired; and,
\VHEREAS, the Mounds View Economic Development Project identifies parcels which
could be acquired with Tax Increment financing funds; and,
\VHEREAS, the identified parcels would potentially be used to facilitate redevelopment
within Mounds View; and,
\VHEREAS, the redevelopment of the identified parcels would be consistent with the
City's goals and Comprehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of
Mounds Vicw, finding thc proposcd modification consistent with the Comprehensive Plan,
hereby recommends approval to thc City Council of the City of Mounds View regarding
modification to the Mounds View Economic Development Project.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Planning Commission directs staff to forward
this resolution to the City Council prior to approval of the minutes.
