Dear Charter Commission Member :
Enclosed please find an updated version of the City Charter
which includes amendments made by Ordinance No. 404 which
amended Chapter 4 . 02, Filing for Office.
The City Council is presently considering Ordinance No. 435
which will amend Chapter 4. 02 of the Charter to comply with
the recent statutory changes relating to deadlines for
filing for elective office in municipal elections. As soon
as this Ordinance is adopted by the City Council I will
forward a copy of the ordinance and a revised copy of the
Charter to you.
