Re: Mounds View Charter Commission
Dear Judge Plunkett,
After I received your letter on February 16 , 1989 you will
recall we had a conversation regarding the Mounds View Charter
Commission. At that time you advised me that the City should
proceed on it's own to select new Charter Commission Members but
that I should report back to you any actions which the City of
Mounds View took with regard to that Charter Commission.
The Commission did appoint the eight persons who had applied
to the District COurt for appointment to the Charter Commission.
I 'm enclosing a copy of the unapproved minutes of a special meeting
held March 6 , 1989 in which the City Council appointed eight
members . The certified copy of the minutes indicating these
appointments will be sent to Susan Alliegro by the City
Administrator.
In the meantime, I wanted to send you a copy to keep you
advised of this situation. I also wanted to Thank You very much for
your kind help and cooperation in providing the information in a
prompt matter to the City in assisting my office. Once again Thank
You for your cooperation.
