RE: MOUNDS VIEW CHARTER COMMISSION
Dear Mr. Whiting:
As you are aware, the terms of the current Charter Commission members terms
expired on October 31, 1998. Four of the members have indicated they wish to
be re-appointed and this will then leave 3 vacancies. (Two who have already
served two terms and one who does not want to be re-appointed. I have received
a couple of applications, but not enough to fill the vacancies. You will need to
advertise in your local paper for applications at this time and indicate a deadline of
filing of December 7th (if this is possible to get out right away). The past
applicants have just sent in a "letter application" indicating their qualifications and
their request to be considered for the position. These letters may be sent to you or
they may be directed to the District Court - 600 Courthouse - 15 W. Kellogg
Blvd.- St:Paul, MN 5 1-02. Please let-me know ifthis will work out-for you as
far as advertising.
Sincerely,
Guy d .0, S
