STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE FOR
ISMAIL OMAR, COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER
WHEREAS, Ismail Omar's position as Community Service Officer for the City of
Mounds View was eliminated and his last day of employment was August 24, 2018; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual, Mr. Omar
is eligible for a cash payout of his vacation and compensatory time; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Omar had less than two (2) years of service and is not eligible
for sick time payout; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Omar's balance of accrued and unused vacation and
compensatory time is 18.94 hours; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Omar's rate of pay upon resignation was $18.56 per hour.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
approves severance to Ismail Omar consistent with the Mounds View Personnel Manual
as follows:
