CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING ADDITIONAL EXPENSES FOR REST ROOM/MECHANICAL BUILDING
FOR THE SPLASH PAD AT CITY HALL PARK
WHEREAS, City Council approved the installation of a new Play Ground and
Splash Pad at City Hall Park; and,
WHEREAS, Material and components of the splash pad have begun to arrive; and,
WHEREAS, Upon review of the equipment, it was discovered that the proposed
building size, to house the equipment, would not be adequate for the pump and controls;
and,
WHEREAS, An increased building size from 20'x20' to 20'X26' would remedy the
equipment housing situation; and,
WHEREAS, The increased cost of the larger building will be $17,335.00 along
with $11,956.00.00 for concrete, labor and freight.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds
View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. Accept the proposal from Minnesota Wisconsin Playground for the revised building
expansion at a cost of $17,335.00 along with $11,956.00 for concrete, labor and
freight; totaling $29,291.00 to be funded from account 480-4470-7050.
