November 7, 2006 ***General Election***
• Ballot measure amending Charter Section 7.03, limiting city tax levy increases to 5% or
the CPI plus 2%, whichever is least unless approved by a referendum, passes with 78%
of the vote - 3706 voted in favor and 1060 voted against.
November 14, 2006
Commissioners William Werner, Sr, Brian Amundsen and Matthew Eenigenburg left the
Commission with the expiration of their terms. Commissioner Bill Doty was reappointed
and new Commissioners Michael Haubrich and Thai Vang are appointed with terms
expiring in 2010. Continued discussion of Chapter 5.
