CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A HOT ASPHALT PATCHER FOR THE
PUBLIC WORKS STREET DIVISION
WHEREAS, $30,000.00 been budgeted in the Streets Division 2007
budget (100-4470-7030) for the purchase of a hot asphalt patcher unit; and
WHEREAS, Staff has performed an extensive study and evaluation of hot
asphalt patchers that are designed to meet our needs; and
WHEREAS, said hot asphalt patcher would be purchased under state
contract and thus forego the requirement to acquire additional bids.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View City
Council does hereby approve the purchase of a One-Ton Spaulding RMV Hot
Patcher/Asphalt Recycler Unit under state contract in the amount of $19,191.30
including tax.
