CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
SUPERVISOR POSITION
WHEREAS, the Public Works Supervisor position has been vacant
since December 15, 2006; and
WHEREAS, many of the responsibilities of the Public Works
Supervisor were delegated to administrative positions in within Public Works; and
WHEREAS, in recent years the City of Mounds View has
developed goals that will directly influence the Public Works Department
administrative capabilities; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department will not be able to
support these goals and their associated pubic improvement projects at our
current staffing level; and
WHEREAS, filling the Public Works Supervisor position at this time
will restore the historic staffing level the Public Works Department has had for
many years.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the Mounds View
City Council does hereby grant authorization to advertise for the Public Works
Supervisor position in the Public Works Department.
Adopted this 10th day of September 2007.
