CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION DONATING SURPLUS PROPERTY
•
WHEREAS, the city no longer has a productive use for property described in Exhibit A due to
deterioration and/or obsolescence; and,
WHEREAS, it is not financially feasible to dispose of the property through established city policies
pertaining to surplus property; and,
WHEREAS, Mounds View Mobile Home Park, through a grant from J.C. Penny, has recently established
a "Community Center" that will provide educational assistance, recreational opportunities, and meeting
space for park residents and adjacent property owners; and,
WHEREAS, Mounds View Mobile Home Park could utilize the property for their "Community Center."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Mounds View, Minnesota, that the
surplus property itemized in Exhibit A of this resolution shall be donated to the Mounds View Mobile
Home Park's Community Center.
Adopted this 26th day of March, 2001.
