The City Council of the City of Mounds View, pursuant to the recommendation of the City of Mounds View City Charter Commission, has hereby determined that Section 4.02, Subdivision 1 of the Charter of the City of Mounds View relating to "Filing for Office" be amended by the addition of the bold and double - underlined language and by the deletion of the bold and strIGken as follows: Section 4.02. Filing for Office Subdivision 1. Pursuant to Minnesota Statute 205.13, as amended, no earlier than seventy days nor later than fifty-six days before any municipal election, any resident of the City qualified under state law for elective office may, by filing an affidavit and by paying a filing fee 20 or by filing a petition in complianc with MN Statute 205.13, Subd. 4, as amended. to the Clerk -Administrator in the amount of the GFdonanGe, have their name placed on the municipal election ballot.
