STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RELOCATION OF THE FESTIVAL IN THE PARK
FROM CITY HALL PARK TO SILVER VIEW PARK
WHEREAS, the Festival in the Park has been held at City Hall Park for years; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council approved numerous upgrades to City Hall Park
including a new splash pad that takes up considerable space resulting in conflicts with the
Festival space needs; and,
WHEREAS, Silverview Park meets the space requires for the Festival celebration.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council
approves the relocation of Festival in the Park from City Hall Park to Silver View Park.
Adopted this day of 28th Day of January, 2019.
