CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING A WAGE ADJUSTMENT FOR THE ASSISTANT CITY
ADMINISTRATOR
WHEREAS, the City promoted Mr. Beeman to the position of Assistant City
Administrator effective January 1, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the starting pay for this position was designated to be Step 1 of the
2019 Pay Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Assistant City Administrator requested Council consider an
increase in the wage based on years of experience and knowledge for the position; and
WHEREAS, the HR Committee recommended the wage be increased from Step
1 to Step 4, the rate is $46.71; and
WHEREAS, the HR Committee recommended the wage would then be
increased to Step 5 effective January 1, 2020 provided the employee successfully
completes the six month probationary requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
does hereby adopt the Step 4 wage rate of $46.71 for the Assistant City Administrator
effective January 28, 2019.
Adopted this 28th day of January, 2019.
