HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 7113RESOLUTION NO. 7113 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TASK FORCE WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council adopted Resolution 7083 on May 14, 2007, establishing the Comprehensive Plan Task Force; and, WHEREAS, according to the resolution, the Task Force is to be comprised of six residents plus representatives from each of the following entities: City Council, Planning Commission, Economic Development Commission, Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission, and the Chamber of Commerce; and, WHEREAS, the Task Force is intended to meet once a month (or as needed) and serve as an advisory body to the City Council and relevant commissions throughout the amendment process. C. Resolution 7113, appointing members to the Comprehensive Plan Taskforce Community Development Director Ericson explained that the City has advertised and talked to each of the Commissions involved in this process and there are members to be appointed to the Taskforce. He then said that the Taskforce is open to and welcome to having any others from Council participate that would like to do so. Director Ericson indicated that Mary Mullen cannot participate leaving an opening for anyone interested in applying. MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Flaherty. To Approve Resolution 7113, Appointing Members to the Comprehensive Plan Taskforce. Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. This item was stricken from the Agenda. E. Resolution 7112 Adopting a Joint Resolution of the City of Mounds View and the Mounds View Economic Development Authority Consenting to an Additional Extension for the Time Period to Remove Two Billboards City Administrator Ulrich recommended that the Council adopt Resolution 7112 allowing until July 23, 2007 to consider negotiation of the agreement to remove the billboards. MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Mueller. To Approve Resolution Mueller commented that with her second is the understanding that this is the final extension. Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. 8. CONSENT AGENDA A. Licenses for Approval B. Resolution 7111, Authorizing the Purchase of Festival in the Park T-Shirts for City Council and Staff Council Member Mueller requested that Item B be removed for discussion.
