STATE OF MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF MOUNDS VIEW BY
AMENDING CHAPTER 1001 ENTITLED "BUILDING CODE"
The City of Mounds View ordains:
SECTION 1: Chapter 1001 of the Mounds View Municipal Code is hereby amended with the
proposed additions underlined and the deletions str+ as follows:
1001.01: ADOPTION OF STATE BUILDING CODE:
Subd. 1. Minnesota State Building Code -Adopted by reference: The most current edition
of the Minnesota State Building Code, as adopted by the Department of Labor and
Industrv pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter
166.59 to 166.75, including all of the amendments, rules and regulations established,
adopted and published from time to time by the Department of Labor and Industrv
,through the Construction Codes and
Licensing Division is hereby adopted by reference

t= 9ptie-~-1-. The Minnesota State Building Code is hereby incorporated in this Section
as if fully set out herein. A copy of said Building Code is on file in the office of the

Subd. 2. Effective Date: Effective July 1, 1972, all building within the City shall be regulated
by current State statutes, as amended from time to time. (Ord. 521, 11-23-92; 1993
Code)
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force 30 days from and after its
passage and publication, in accordance with Section 3.09 of the City Charter.
Introduction and First Reading by the Mounds View City Council on August 13, 2007.

City Council adopted an ordinance-which
revised Chapter 1001 of the Municipal
Code to become consistent with changes
made relative to . the Minnesota
Department of Labor and Industry and
the division of Construction Codes and..
Licensing.
The ordinance is on file and available for
public viewing at the office of the Clerk
Administrator. The ordinance is posted in
its entirety on the Clty's website, located
