CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING AN OUT OF STATE SEMINAR FOR ARIES CAMERA SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the Purchasing Policy on March
25th 2002; and
WHEREAS, said out of state conferences need to be approved by City
Council; and
WHEREAS, Staff is requesting the approval for two of the Public Works
Department Staff to attend the 2008 ARIES TRANSPORTER TECHNICAL
TRAINING COURSE on June 19, 2008 in Waukesha, Wisconsin; and
WHEREAS, funds have been budgeted for 2008 in the Wastewater
Infrastructure & Equipment Maintenance Fund. (730-4823-3630); and
WHEREAS, all allowable expenditures that are incurred according to the
Purchasing Policy will be reimbursed to staff with the approperiate receipts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. That Nate Behlen and Jeff Wienke attend an out of state conference on
June 19, 2008 in Waukesha Wisconsin is hereby approved.
2. All allowable expenditures will be reimbursed to Staff that are in the City of
Mounds Views Purchasing Policy with appropriate receipts of expenses.
3. Funds from the training account of the Wastewater Infrastructure &
Equipment Maintenance Fund (730-4823-3630) will be used to reimburse
said expenditures as allowed as per the City of Mounds View Purchasing
Policy, not to exceed a total of $500.
