MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING MOUNDS VIEW BUSINESS TOOLBOX
WHEREAS, at the request of the EDA, City staff was directed to prepare an
informative economic development resource guide; and,
WHEREAS, The first draft of the document was reviewed by the Mounds View
Economic Development Commission (EDC) on February 16, 2007 upon which the
EDC's input was incorporated into the document; and,
WHEREAS, The second draft of the document was reviewed by the EDA on
March 12, 2007 and March 26, 2007 upon which the EDA's input was incorporated into
the document; and,
WHEREAS, The third draft of the document was reviewed by the EDA on April 9,
2007 upon which the EDA provided additional input regarding the document and also
directed staff to obtain input from the EDC regarding the Business Improvement Loan
Program portion of the document; and,
WHEREAS, The fourth draft of the document includes the EDA's April 9, 2007
input and the EDC's February 15, 2008 input regarding the Business Improvement Loan
Program's 2% interest rate; and,
WHEREAS, The fifth and current draft of the document includes the EDA's
February 25, 2008 input regarding the addition of purpose statements for the Business
Improvement Loan Program, Tax Increment Financing and Tax Rebate Financing
sections of the Toolbox; and,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the EDA approves the attached
Mounds View Business Toolbox as an internal City of Mounds View document.
