CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING ADDITIONAL INTERIM COMPENSATION FOR
CERTAIN EMPLOYEES IN THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Public Works Director Greg Lee has resigned effective April 4, 2008;
and,
WHEREAS, upon Mr. Lee's resignation, certain members of the public works
department began to assume additional duties above and beyond their normal assigned
responsibilities; and,
WHEREAS, the distribution of these additional responsibilities is not clearly
addressed via previous resolutions adopted which establish interim compensation
guidelines; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has expressed a desire to recognize these
individuals taking on additional responsibilities with interim compensation until such time
that the public works director position is filled.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council
does hereby authorize additional compensation to the following identified employees at
a rate of five percent (5%) above their regular rate of pay effective April 7, 2008.

Tracy Juell Administrative Assistant 5%
Jim Hess Engineering Technician 5%
Nick Fleischhacker Surface Water Maintenance Worker 5%
