STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZE AE2S (ADVANCED ENGINEERING AND ENVIRONMENTAL
SERVICES, INC.) TO PERFORM ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE BRONSON LIFT
STATION
WHEREAS, The Bronson Lift Station panel and controls are over 28 years old; and
WHEREAS, Public Work Staff consulted with various contractors to provide recommendations
for needed improvements; and
WHEREAS, Public Works Staff determined an engineering firm was needed to perform an
inspection and make recommendations for improvements; and
WHEREAS, Staff received a Proposal from AE2S (Advanced Engineering and Environmental
Services) for $16,500.00 for design, bidding and construction services for the upgrades; and
WHEREAS, the 2019 Sanitary Sewer budget account 730-4823-7050 has $166,000.00 for the
upgrades to the Bronson Lift Station: and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed the proposal and created an agreement for this
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View,
Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. AE2S (Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc.) is authorized to perform
engineering services of design, bidding and construction at cost $16,500.00, for the Bronson lift
station rehabilitation project.
2. To be funded from the 2019 Sanitary Sewer Budget, account 730-4823-7050.
3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all appropriate
documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this Resolution.
4. The Mayor and City Administrator, staff and consultants are hereby authorized and directed to take
any and all additional steps and actions necessary or convenient in order to accomplish the intent
of this Resolution.
