CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SPRINGSTED TO CONDUCT
A SALARY COMPENSATION STUDY
WHEREAS, it has been discussed by the Mounds View City Council that a
compensation study and market analysis needs to be prepared and conducted pursuant to
Chapter 3.01 of the Personnel Manual; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council had directed staff to obtain quotes from consultants
specializing in compensation matters; and,
WHEREAS, three proposals were received which range in cost from $5,800 to
$31,000, the lowest proposal having been submitted by Springsted; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the scope of work prepared by
Springsted and finds it to be consistent with its expectations.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council
authorizes the firm Springsted to conduct a compensation study and market analysis as
presented in the work plan submitted by Springsted, at a cost of $5,800, plus expenses.
