CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE DRAFT 2040 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
TO AFFECTED JURISDICTIONS FOR REVIEW
WHEREAS, MN Statute §462.355 provides the process for metropolitan
municipalities to update their Comprehensive Plans; and,
WHEREAS, prior to submitting the Draft Comprehensive Plan to the Metropolitan
Council, the City Council must; (1) submit the Plan to adjacent communities for their
review; (2) hold a Public Hearing; and (3) authorize the submittal of the Draft Plan to the
Metropolitan Council for its review; and,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council authorizes Staff
to distribute the Draft Comprehensive Plan to the following adjacent communities for a
mandatory six-month review:
• City of Arden Hills
• City of Blaine
• City of Fridley
• City of New Brighton
• City of Shoreview
• City of Spring Lake Park
• Anoka County
• Ramsey County
• Ramsey County

• Mounds View School
District, ISD 621
• Coon Creek Watershed
District
Adopted this 13th day of May, 2019.
