RESOLUTION GRANTING A ONE -DAY CHARITABLE GAMBLING PREMISES
PERMIT FOR THE MOUNDS VIEW POLICE FOUNDATION TO CONDUCT
CHARITABLE GAMBLING AT SILVERVIEW PARK ON AUGUST 17, 2019
AS PART OF THE FESTIVAL IN THE PARK
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Foundation has requested that the City
Council allow them to conduct charitable gambling, specifically Bingo, for one day on
August 17, 2019, as part of the Festival in the Park; and
WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of government
pass a resolution specifically approving or denying requests to conduct charitable
gambling; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Foundation is in compliance with Mounds
View Municipal Code with regard to charitable gambling regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does
hereby authorize the Mounds View Police Foundation to conduct charitable gambling on
August 17, 2019 at Silver View Park in Mounds View.
Adopted this 28th day of May, 2019.
