ORDINANCE NO. 956
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP, REZONING 8482 LONG LAKE
ROAD FROM R-2 SINGLE & TWO FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO R-1 SINGLE-
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, AND REZONING 8484 LONG LAKE ROAD AND 8486
LONG LAKE ROAD FROM R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO R-2 SINGLE &
TWO FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
SECTION 1. The Official Zoning Map was established on May 1, 1980 in the Mounds View
City Code, Chapter 1105.02, and may be amended by the City Council from time to time. The
City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends the following properties:

SECTION 2. In accordance with Section 3.07 of the City Charter, City Staff shall have
the following summary printed in the official City newspaper in lieu of the complete ordinance.
On May 28, 2019, the City Council adopted Ordinance 956, amending the Official
Zoning Map for property located at 8482 Long Lake Road to be rezoned from R-2 Single
& Two Family Residential to R-1 Single -Family Residential, and for properties at 8484
and 8486 Long Lake Road to be rezoned from R-1 Single -Family Residential to R-2
Single & Two -Family Residential. The purpose of the Zoning Map amendment is to
correct a mapping error.
A printed copy of the ordinance is available for inspection during regular business hours
at Mounds View City Hall and is available online at the City's website, located at
www.moundsviewmn.org.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be inforce 30 days from and after its
passage and publication, in accordance with Section 3.09 of the City Charter.
Introduction and First Reading by the Mounds View City Council on May 13, 2019.
Second Reading and Adoption by the Mounds View �City Council
on May 28,, 2019.
