RESOLUTION APPOINTING HANNA KENOW TO POLICE
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
WHEREAS, The City of Mounds View posted for a Police Administrative
Assistant; and
WHEREAS, The City of Mounds View posted for the position on its web page,
the League of Minnesota Cities web page, and Indeed.com; and
WHEREAS, One hundred twelve (112) completed applications were received,
scored and ten (10) interviews were conducted; and
WHEREAS, An interview panel comprised of the Police Chief, Deputy Police
Chief, Police Investigator, and the Human Resources Coordinator conducted interviews
on May 16 and 17, 2019. At the end of the interview process staff engaged in
discussion and came to a conclusion for a recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
approves the hiring of Hanna Kenow to the position of Police Administrative Assistant
starting June 25, 2019 at Step 1.5 in the 2019 compensation plan, complete a six-month
probationary period and advance to Step 2. Step 3 will follow one year later (1'/2 years
after her start date) based on successful job performance.
