CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
ATHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE YMCA AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL
SERICES -EVENT CENTER MANAGEMENT STAFF
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds has entered into an Agreement for Professional Services
dated January 14, 1999, that provides for the YMCA to assist in the management of the
Community Center and recreation programs; and
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View desires to add additional services to that agreement
to provide for full-time status for the Event Center Staff position as approved in Resolution 6980;
and
WHEREAS, increasing the position to full-time will further the City's goal of providing
improved customer service and marketing efforts for the Community Center; and
WHEREAS, the position is consistent with the Mounds View Community Center Task
Force recommendation to provide a single point of contact for the facility under the direction of
the YMCA; and
WHEREAS, the City will provide for the additional cost of making this afull-time position in
the 2009 Community Center Budget
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Mounds View
does hereby authorize the City Clerk-Administrator to execute an amended Agreement for
Professional Services to provide for the additional hours needed to make the Event Center Staff
position full-time and authorizes staff to increase the 2008 budget account 252-4730-3030 by
$5,700.
