CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
RAMSEY COUNTY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZING VARIOUS FEES FOR RENTAL HOUSING IN MOUNDS VIEW
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Ordinance 802 on February 25, 2008, that
requires the owners of single dwellings that want to use them as rental properties to get a
rental housing license from the City; and
WHEREAS, Mounds View desires to recover some or most of the city's costs for the
inspection and management of the rental housing inspection program in the city; and
WHEREAS, the City needs to set the fees to charge the owners of rental housing in
Mounds View to help recover the costs of the program; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does
hereby authorize the following fees be effective September 15, 2008:
1. Rental dwellings with one rental dwelling unit - $60.00
2. Reinspection fee - $47.00
3. Reinstatement fee (for cases where the license is suspended) - $250.00
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council
does hereby authorize the following fee be effective January 1, 2009:
1. Rental dwellings with multiple units - $60.00 plus $8.00 per unit
