CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZING A REQUEST FOR A MNDOT COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
PROJECT AT THE INTERSECTION OF
COUNTY HIGHWAY 10 AND COUNTY ROAD H
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has identified the need for improvements to
the intersection of County Highway 10 and County Road H; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvements to the intersection include a new traffic
signal; reconstruction of the intersection including designated left turn lanes on County
Road H, and advanced signal flashers for traffic exiting I-35W; and
WHEREAS, the project will address the traffic safety and operation of traffic on
County Highway 10 which serves as the west leg of the I-35W interchange; and
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is requesting the financial participation of
the Minnesota Department of Transportation through the Municipal Agreement
Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is committed to providing the local share of
the costs if the project is selected for inclusion in the Fiscal Year 2010 Municipal
Agreement Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota that the Minnesota Department of
Transportation consider a proposal to replace the signal system and construct roadway
improvements at the intersection of County Highway 10 and County Road H in the 2009
Cooperative Agreement program.
