MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPOINTMENT GARY MEEHLAUSE TO THE
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Commission (EDC) consist of
members appointed by the Economic Development Authority; and
WHEREAS, there is currently one vacant seat on the EDC; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 308.03, subdivision 1 of the Mounds View City Code,
provides that Commission members shall be appointed by the Authority President
with the approval of the Economic Development Authority (EDA); and
WHEREAS, Staff has received one application for this appointment, Gary
Meehlause; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Meehlause has expressed a strong interest in being
appointed to the EDC: and
WHEREAS, Mr. Meehlause's term on the EDC will expire on December
31, 2008.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Economic Development
Authority of the City of Mounds View hereby appoints Mr. Gary Meehlause to the
EDC for athree-year term expiring on December 31, 2008.
