CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER FOR THE
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2019
WHEREAS, Minnesota state law requires that City Councils annually designate a
legal newspaper of general circulation in the City as its official newspaper;
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View's Official Newspaper for 2019, the Mounds
View -New Brighton Bulletin, has informed the City that they are no longer publishing
legal notices;
WHEREAS, staff received proposals from the Pioneer Press, Star Tribune, Press
Publications, and the Blaine -Spring Lake Park -Fridley -New Brighton Life; and
WHEREAS, The Press Publications submitted the lowest cost per line for
publication of legal notices.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Mounds View does hereby approve Press Publications as the City of Mounds View's
Official Newspaper for the remainder of 2019.
Adopted this 14th day of October, 2019.

Please e-mail your notices to legals@presspubs.com - labeling the subject line as "Legal
Notices."
The Shoreview Press publishes every other week. Our deadline for legal notices is every other
Wednesday by 5:00 p.m. for the following Tuesday's publication. We will do our best to
accommodate a notice that would be submitted after deadline. If you know of one coming down
the pipeline, please advise by e-mail and a phone call for emergencies.
