CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2020 SCORE RECYCLING GRANT
REQUEST TO RAMSEY COUNTY
WHEREAS, Ramsey County is accepting applications for use of SCORE funds to improve recycling participation by the public; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is eligible to apply for a grant to provide administration and promotional activities intended to improve recycling participation
among city residents through education, awareness and incentives; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View has determined that this
is an appropriate use of city resources and that increasing recycling participation benefits the public health, safety and welfare of the community as a whole.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does hereby approve the attached application for preliminary 2020 SCORE funding in the
amount of $31,545 and authorizes acceptance of any allocated funding.
