MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION

RESOLUTION AMENDING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION BYLAWS
WHEREAS, Chapter 408 of the Municipal Code specifies that the Economic
Development Commission review its Bylaws on an annual basis; and
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Commission has conducted a review of its
Bylaws; and
WHEREAS, the current Economic Development Commission Bylaws specify that the
Commission shall meet on the third Friday of each month; and
WHEARAS, the City of Mounds View administrative offices are no longer open on
Fridays; and
WHEARAS, the Economic Development Commission would like to have the flexibility to
set and amend their own meeting dates and times by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Commission has determined that an
amendment is necessary in order to clarify and stay consist with Chapter 408.07 subsection 2 of
the Municipal Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Economic Development Commission of
the City of Mounds View hereby approves the current Bylaws as amended;
