CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPOINTMENT TO CHARTER COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Charter Commission plays a critical role in the overall
governance of the city; and
WHEREAS, a vacancy has occurred due to the resignation of Brooks Staples and,
WHEREAS, the Council has established a desire/goal of Commission members
representing gender diversity, age diversity, racial diversity, and geographical diversity as
well as seeking new applicants and/or new resident's desirable of making a difference in
their community.
WHEREAS, resident Miranda Munson provides the greatest combination of the
qualities desired.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
recommends and requests of the Chief Judge of Ramsey County District Court, the
appointment of Miranda Munson to the Mounds View Charter Commission.
