CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE PROMOTION OF BRIAN SCHULTES
TO THE POSITION OF POLICE SERGEANT
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a promotion to fill the vacancy of Police
Sergeant in the Police Department, and the City of Mounds View has approved the
procedures to fill these vacancies, and;
WHEREAS, the approved hiring procedures consist of training and experience
scoring, oral board interview, a psychological and leadership assessment, and;
WHEREAS, staff of the Police Department has met with Brian Schultes, and the
Chief of Police recommends that he be appointed to the position of Police Sergeant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota does hereby appoint Brian Schultes to the
position of Police Sergeant at the step three rate of pay ($41.81/hour) as indicated in the
Law Enforcement Labor Services contract.
