MEETING MINUTES
1. CALL TO ORDER at 7:01 PM
2. ROLL CALL:
Commissioners: Arel, Aukee, Katovich, Kroeger, Kunz, Palm, Rundle,
Staff: Peterson
3. APPROVAL OF SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA: Motion to approve by Kroeger, 2nd by
Palm. Motion passed 5-0.
4. PUBLIC INPUT
Citizens may speak to issues not on tonight’s agenda. Before speaking, please give your full
name and address. Please limit your comments to three minutes. No residents present.
5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS – none at this time
6. NEW BUSINES
A. Review Bids for Greenfield and Groveland Tennis and Basketball Court Rehabilitation
project. 2 bid received:
Bid #1: Oman Brothers: Base bid $209,000, Alternate bid (black vinyl fencing) $18,250, Unit
price $40.
Bid #2: Bituminous Road Ways: Base bid $179,425. Alternate bid $18,150, Unit Price $60.
7% contingency, Inspection by Fred Kolkmann: $7500.
Total Project by Bituminous Road Ways: $218,905.25
Commissioner Katovich present.
City has had work done by Bituminous in the past, so is familiar with their work.
Motion by Rundle to recommend to City Council the bid from Bituminous Road Ways.
2nd by Arel. Motion Passed 6-0.
7. COMMISSIONER REPORTS: Public Works Open House Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 6
from 3-6 PM at the new public works building!
8. REQUESTS FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS / OTHER BUSINESS
9. AD JOURNMENT: Motion by Palm to adjourn at 7:11 PM, 2nd by Kunz. Motion Passed 6-0.
