CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MISCELLANOUS DONATIONS FOR 2019
WHEREAS, MN Statute 465.03 requires cities to accept donations by resolution;
and
WHEREAS, the City received a cash donation during 2019 in support of
advertising for the Festival in the Park and a Community Center website update of $8,501;
and
WHEREAS, the City received several K9 donations during 2019 totaling $1,425;
and
WHEREAS, the City received a miscellaneous donation for park trees during 2019
totaling $50; and
WHEREAS, the City received miscellaneous donations for the "Shop with a Cop"
event totaling $4,540.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council
gratefully acknowledges and accepts the miscellaneous donations of $14,516 from
several donors for 2019.
