CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING BIDDING
FOR THE 2020 STREET PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is considering the 2020 Street Project to
include Quincy Street, from County Road H2 to County Road I, and Sherwood Place off
Spring Lake Road North of Mounds View Boulevard.
WHEREAS, this project will include pavement rehabilitation, and necessary
concrete improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the 2020 Budget that includes the
monies for the street rehabilitation project on Quincy Street; and
WHEREAS, the estimated total cost of the project is $1,221,380.00.
WHEREAS, the estimate includes the mill and overlay of Sherwood Place for
$59,114.00. Storm Water pipe replacement for $106,029.00, to be funded out of the
Storm Water budget, 745-4415-5150. Sanitary Sewer lining on Quincy Street for
$169,360.00 to be funded out of the Sanitary Sewer budget, 730-4823-7050. The
estimated Quincy Street rehabilitation cost is $886,877.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Mounds View approves the plans and specifications for the 2020 Street Project from
Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. The City Council further approves going out to bid with
the plans and specifications.
