CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A
PODIUM FOR THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS
WHEREAS, the current podium requires replacement because it is in poor repair
and it does not meet the needs of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City received proposals from three vendors for the purchase of a
custom podium to match the finish of the Council Chambers; and
WHEREAS, Wilkie Sanderson submitted the lowest cost proposal for acustom-built
podium at a cost of $1379.00; and
WHEREAS, K-Log had the lowest price for an off-the-shelf podium at a cost of
$599.85; and
WHEREAS, the 2008 cable budget includes $2000 in the Capital Equipment fund
(Account #210 - 4350 - 7030) for the purchase of a podium and other council chamber
improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Mounds
View that staff is authorized to purchase a podium as specified in the proposal from Wilkie
Sanderson at a cost not to exceed $1,379.00.
