HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 7380RESOLUTION 7380 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RESULTS OF THE SPRINGSTED SUPPLEMENTAL SALARY COMPENSATION STUDY AND AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF THE 2009 COMPREHENSIVE PAY PLAN WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has determined that a compensation study and market analysis needs to be prepared and conducted pursuant to Chapter 3.01 of the Personnel Manual; and, WHEREAS, On June 9, 2008, the City Council approved Resolution 7281 authorizing a work plan submitted by Springsted to conduct a compensation study and market analysis; and, WHEREAS, On November 24, 2008, the City Council approved Resolution 7365 authorizing a supplemental work plan with Springsted to review job descriptions and conduct a HAY Point analysis; and, WHEREAS, Springsted completed the supplemental work and provided staff with a proposed and actual wage table, a summary table of HAY point revisions, a regression analysis resulting in a line of best fit and predicted pay, and a comprehensive 2009 pay plan. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council accepts the Springsted HAY Point analysis and authorizes the implementation of the comprehensive 2009 Pay Plan which incorporates a maximum 2%wage adjustmentforthe indicated positions, effective January 1, 2009.
