CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2008 - 2009 LABOR AGREEMENT
WITH LELS LOCAL 232 REPRESENTING THE SERGEANTS
WHEREAS, the labor agreement between the City of Mounds View and LELS Local
232 expired at the end of 2007; and,
WHEREAS, the City has been in negotiations with LELS in the preparation of a new
contract to cover the term from 2008 through the end of 2009; and,
WHEREAS, in addition to other minor changes and language revisions, the following
represents the significant changes incorporated into the proposed 2008-2009 labor
agreement:
2008 Wages: increase 3%
2009 Wages: increase 3%
2008 Health Insurance Contribution $782 per month
2009 Health Insurance Contribution $832 per month
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Mounds
View does hereby ratify the labor agreement for and with Local 232 of Law Enforcement
Labor Services, Inc., effective for two years from January 1, 2008 until December 31, 2009.
Adopted this 22nd day of December, 2008.
