1. CALL TO ORDER at 7:01 PM

3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Motion to approve by Aukee, 2nd by Peterson.

4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A. June 24, 2010 Meeting Minutes: Motion to approve by Kunz, 2nd by Kroeger. Motion
Passed 4-0

6. YMCA UPDATE
A. Program Updates:
Current Programming Notes – Summer parks program registration is filling up and residents
are encouraged to register quickly. Summer ball program registration is at an all time high.
Teen night will be Friday June 10th at MVCC.
B. Facility Usage – The event center is busy and there are multiple bookings every weekend
until September. Many weekday bookings as well.
C. Music In the Park – Starts at 6:30 on the 3rd Thursday of each month at City Hall Park
1. June 16th – North Suburban Concert Band
2. July 21st – Good Timin’
3. August 18th – Russell Schmidt
D. Staffing News – Leah Benson will be coming on June 1st as the new Events Coordinator.
7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A. Review/Recommend Final Design & Options for New Lambert Park Building
1. Kathryn Poore-Larson from TKDA presented the proposal for the new building including
a variety of options.
Motion Made by Peterson, 2nd by Kunz to recommend the following to city council:
Use the building layout proposed by TKDA with the following changes from what
was done at Groveland.
1. Install premium asphalt shingles
2. Use burnished block masonry and CMU painting
3. Use sacrificial/semi-perm graffiti resistant treatment
4. Install 4 HM Door & Frame, exterior 2 with ½ inch safety glass
5. Install 4’ 4” windows
6. Install High Abuse Gypsum for ceiling
7. Install LED lighting
8. Install Instantaneous Water Heaters
9. Include an F/F/E Allowance to purchase picnic tables and interior tables and
chairs
