CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZE REPAIRS TO UNIT #723 — CAT BACKHOE
WHEREAS, Public Works Staff evaluated the condition of unit #723, a CAT
Backhoe and determined that the unit was in good to great condition; and
WHEREAS, Staff determined that a minor overhaul was need to extend the life of
this unit; and
WHEREAS, Staff received a quote from Ziegler CAT for the estimated needed
repair work for $12,205.00; and
WHEREAS, Repairs are budgeted in the Water Fund, 700-4823-5130, which
includes $12,000.00 for this backhoe overhaul.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds
View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. The Council hereby approves the quote from Ziegler CAT of Minneapolis, MN,
for $12,205.00 for overhauling the CAT Backhoe, unit #723.
2. Funding is budgeted in the Water Fund, 700-4823-5130.
3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to
execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by
this resolution.
4. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby authorized
'and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or
convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution.
