COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF ASSET MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
FOR THE WATER TREATMENT PLANTS AND SANITARY SEWER LIFT STATIONS
WHEREAS, Public Works has been engaged in software/technology upgrades
specific to Asset Management; and
WHEREAS, the City Council were provided an overview at the June 6, 2020 Council
Work Session of OP -Works, an Asset Management Software for the Water Treatment
Facilities and the Sanitary Sewer Lift stations; and
WHEREAS, the consensus from the City Council was to proceed with the
purchase of this asset management software; and
WHEREAS, Staff received a proposal for the Asset Management software of
$5,000.00 annually.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Mounds View, Ramsey
County, Minnesota as follows:
1) Approves the purchase of OP- Works Asset Management Software from
OP -Works of Grand Forks, North Dakota. At a cost of $5,000.00 annually.
2) To be funded from the Water and Sanitary Sewer Enterprise Funds.
3) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to
execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by
this resolution.
4) The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby
authorized and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions
necessary or convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution.
