STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AUTOMOBILE SALES LICENSE REQUEST FROM
RICHARD R. HEROD, III, RYDELL AUTO OUTLET AND GARAGE, LLC.
(DBA THE BEAR LOT), 2375 MOUNDS VIEW BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, according to the Mounds View City Code Chapter 510 (New Code Chapter
112.020), automobile sales licenses must be approved by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City has received a license application from Richard R. Herod, III to
operate automobile sales at 2375 Mounds View Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the property currently operating as Rydell Auto Outlet and Garage and is
owned 100 percent by Saturn of St. Paul; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Herod, III will be taking ownership of the business and the property
effective January 1, 2021, keeping the company name Rydell Auto Outlet and Garage, DBA The
Bear Lot; and
WHEREAS, the appropriate fees and application materials have been submitted and the
property is current on its fire inspection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does hereby
approve a business license request to sell automobiles from Mr. Richard R. Herod, III at 2375
Mounds View Boulevard;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the license will be valid from January 1, 2021 to December
31, 2021.
