STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW 2021 FEE SCHEDULE REGARDING
MOBILE FOOD UNITS AND ICE CREAM TRUCKS
WHEREAS, annual revisions and updates to the City of Mounds View Fee
Schedule are necessary; and
WHEREAS, often times the need arises to amend the fee schedule more than just
once a year; and
WHEREAS, there has been a significant increase recently in inquires and requests
for mobile food units/food trucks in the City; and
WHEREAS, mobile food units/food trucks and ice cream/vending trucks are not
specifically addressed in the fee schedule and the City is currently using the fee schedule
for transient merchants and peddlers which is insufficient; and
WHEREAS, the City would like to address that insufficiency in the fee schedule;
and
WHEREAS, the following fees have been created to specifically address mobile
food units/food trucks and ice cream/vending trucks:
Mobile Food Unit (MFU)/Food Truck
$25 per day
$100 per ten (10) days
$200 per thirty (30) days
400 per ear
Ice Cream/Street Vending Truck
$20 per day
100 per year
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Mounds View does hereby approve the above amendments to the 2021 Fee schedule.
