CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA
APPROVING MOU LEASE COST SHARING AGREEMENT
WITH THE MOUNDS VIEW POLICE FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has strategic goals of community engagement and
being a welcoming and progressive community; and
WHEREAS, the City Council set forth challenges to the police department to increase
community engagement; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Foundation has been a strong supporter and
partners of the Police Department and the City of Mounds View as exampled by their funding o
the two canines; and
WHEREAS, the COP House model has exceeded all expectations in the two models
studied, Racine, WI and St. Cloud, MN.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Mounds View,
Ramsey County, Minnesota that the City Approves entering into an MOU with the Mounds View
Police Foundation to provide $700 per month towards the lease of the COP House located in
Colonial Village.
