REVISIONS TO THE CITY'S PERSONNEL MANUAL, SECTION 4.14 REASONABLE WORK
TIME FOR NURSING MOTHERS AND LACTATING EMPLOYEES
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2022
WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota approved revisions to Statute 181.939 Nursing
Mothers, Lactating Employees, and Pregnancy Accommodations, which requires the City of
Mounds View to update Section 4.14 of the City's Personnel Manual, Reasonable Work Time for
Nursing Mothers and Lactating Employees; and
WHEREAS, the State's revisions require entities with 15 or more employees to provide
pay for break times needed for Nursing Mothers and Lactating employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Mounds View,
Minnesota that the City of Mounds View approves Revisions to the City's Personal Manual,
Section 4.14 Reasonable Work Time for Nursing Mothers and Lactating Employees, Effective
January 1, 2022.
