COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZE RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR PARKS AND RECREATION
FACILITIES MAINTENANCE POSITION
WHEREAS, Facilities Maintenance employee Rene Montero accepted the Public
Works Maintenance Worker — Wastewater position beginning effective March 29, 2022;
and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department will have a need to fill this full-
time, non-exempt position; and
WHEREAS, Staff would like to start the process of advertising for the Facilities
Maintenance position internally for five (5) days per Section 1.02 of the City's Personnel
Manual; and
WHEREAS, only after the vacancy is posted for five (5) working days and no
response or qualified candidates are received will the vacancy be posted externally.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
authorizes Staff to advertise for the upcoming vacancy for the Facilities Maintenance
position.
