STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN -KEEPING LICENSE FOR
EMILEAH MOST, 5359 JACKSON DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City Council passed Ordinance 903 which allows limited and
controlled raising and keeping of chickens and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single
Family Residential; and
WHEREAS, Emileah Most has submitted an application with an approved site plan
and the appropriate fees to keep and raise chickens on her property located at 5359
Jackson Drive; and
WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the application and it appears to meet all
requirements set forth in Ordinance 903; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Ordinance 903, initial applications shall be
considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing, which was held May 9,
2022;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council
does hereby approve a chicken -keeping license for Emileah Most, 5359 Jackson
Drive, for no more than eight chickens or eight ducks or a combination of both;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this license is effective from May 10, 2022 to
December 31, 2022.
