AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 31.003 OF THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY CODE
REGARDING CITY COUNCIL COMPENSATION.
THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 3,
Chapter 31, Section 31.003 of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the double -underlined
material and deleting the stricken material as follows:
§ 31.003 COMPENSATION.
(A) Mayor's compensation. The salary of the Mayor is fixed at $7—,5A0A,: 50 per year.
(B) Council members' salaries. The salary of the Council members is fixed at
$6,,750 $7,452 per year.
(C) Method of payment. The compensation shall be paid monthly.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect January 1, 2025 after the next municipal election held
in November 2024.
