CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRPERSON,
AND APPOINTMENT OF VICE -CHAIRPERSON OF THE 2022 MOUNDS VIEW
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Municipal Code §33.001 establishes a Planning and
Zoning Commission, which shall be the City planning agency as authorized by Minnesota Statute
§462.354, Subd 1; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Municipal Code §33.025 establishes a Board of
Adjustment and Appeals, of which its membership shall consist of members of the Planning and Zoning
Commission; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Municipal Code §33.002(A) states that based upon the
recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, the City Council, shall appoint a Chairperson;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Municipal Code §33.006(A) states that at the first regular
meeting in January, the Commission shall elect a Vice -Chairperson from among its appointed members
for a term of one year; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE RE OL D that the Mounds View Planning and Zoning
Commission recommends thatgx be appointed by the City Council as the
Planning and Zoning Commission C airperson; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLV P,.that the Mounds View Planning and
Zoning Commission does hereby appoint as Vice -Chairperson of
the Planning and Zoning Commission; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IF FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Mounds View Planning and
Zoning Commission directs Staff to forward this resolution to the. Counc' prior to approval of the
minutes.
